Amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colégio Santa Marcelina choir faced the disappointment of being unable to present their cherished annual Christmas performance. Undeterred by the circumstances, they sought a digital solution to celebrate the season, leading them to commission Reviravolta Audiovisual Production.
As the project lead, I assumed responsibility for orchestrating every aspect of the production, working closely with the client to ensure their vision permeated every stage, from initial storyboard concepts to the final animated masterpiece. Inspired by the school's Catholic heritage, we conceived a concept intertwining the grace of stained glass windows, ubiquitous in Catholic churches, with the enchantment of animation. Additionally, we infused the project with nods to classical artistry, drawing from the timeless beauty of Van Gogh's "Starry Night."
The culmination of our collaborative efforts resulted in a resounding success, captivating both the school's faculty and the parents of the choir members. It was a privilege to collaborate with Suziane Dege Magalhães Madureira and the exceptional team at Reviravolta, bringing this vision to life amidst challenging circumstances.
